Redesigning a mobile application with a multi - million audience is always a great responsibility.


Before
The graphs section will show you your baby’s movements over the last 2, 7 and 14 days, you can easily swipe between the various graphs to view information. The graphs are designed to help you gain an understanding of your baby’s movements pattern.
When you are pregnant, the countdown to due date lasts for months and days. However, when the first contractions start, you will be counting the minutes between contractions and the hours until delivery!

And while many women in labor use a good old clock or pen and paper to record the time between contractions, there are some great apps that can help you keep track of your contractions in a technical way.
We asked the Mum's Grapevine Facebook and other communities what they value in a muscle contraction app, what features they want to see in it. After that, we started designing.
The interface of the application, which has not been updated for 5 years and is outdated for a long time.
One of the first tasks was to update the logo and corporate identity. The style of the color and illustrations was created in several stages and went through many iterations.

Contraction Timer is a simple, free Android app. You simply hit start and stop when a contraction begins and ends. This app will calculate how far apart the contractions are for you and how long they last.
All doctors and mothers know how important it is to monitor the movements of the baby in late pregnancy.

The application contains a screen with a simple and convenient baby movement counter. By pressing the button you start the session, and then you can see the history of movements in the chart.

The Project
Since simplicity and ease of use are one of the biggest aims of the Pregnancy app, the number of screens were kept to a minimum and I wanted to focus on highlighting the core features
I found a combination of features and elements that I thought matched the users needs and that would be as intuitive as much as possible
User personas
Anna, 29 years old, is 31 weeks pregnant. She is expecting her second child. Despite the fact that she already has experience of pregnancy, she, like in the first pregnancy, understands how important it is to monitor the development of the baby.
